Chess clubs of Amman and Fuheis 4

Jordanian chess clubs are seen mostly through the national league, not through an open door. The table of the first- and second-division league, played from late December 2025 into January 2026, puts the Orthodox club of Amman second after seven rounds and the Amman Municipality staff team seventh, and it includes the Orthodox club of Fuheis, the hill town north-west of the capital.

Federation notices name the Royal Jordan club as organiser of a Ramadan blitz tournament in 2025, and a visitor’s report from 2024 places it inside the federation’s building at Al-Hussein Sports City. The Orthodox club on Bashir Khair Street is a large multi-sport and social club, and the only one here with an address on record. None of them publishes a weekly chess evening or a fee, so these entries show where each club appears and leave the rest open.
